Introduction

Welcome to the Gesvision API documentation — the developer portal for the Gesvision business management platform by Gesvision.

Gesvision is an all-in-one platform for optical, retail and healthcare stores, covering invoicing, inventory, CRM, appointments, insurance billing, loyalty programs, electronic invoicing, and much more.

The REST API allows you to integrate Gesvision with external systems such as e-commerce platforms, accounting software, insurance providers, and CRMs.

What can you do with the API?

ResourceCapabilities
InvoicesCreate, list, update and delete invoices. Supports simplified invoices, rectifications, credit notes, multi-currency, insurance billing, and electronic invoicing.
Credit NotesIssue credit notes (refunds) linked to existing invoices — full, partial, or replacement.
OrdersManage sales orders with full CRUD. Supports subscriptions, manufacturing tracking, and order-to-invoice workflows.
PaymentsRegister payments against invoices — cash, card (with POS), bank transfer, vouchers. Automatic change calculation.
CustomersQuery and update customer data, contact info, billing addresses. Patch semantics for partial updates.

API v2 is now the recommended API and is being expanded resource by resource. See the v2 reference. v1 is frozen and still available for existing integrations.
